I am assuming that mp3 are a type of file, that is downloadable, yes?

I saw something on the tv that indicated that there were mp3 discs, but this was not my understanding. Does anyone have a recommendation on the type of mp3 player to purchase? Is there a particular brand that is easier to use. Has anyone checked out the new microsoft Zunes? I am really looking for a devise that handled music the best. I am not big on photos, and I doubt I’ll ever watch video so maybe Zunes is just overkill. I was also reading about the Bose docking system for the mp3’s. Any advise on the performance on this?
